Validating E-Mail Address

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to validate an email address without using RegEx, It is quite easy.
First we should what the email address should contain and where.
Here is the basic format of an email address:

[email protected]

You might have noticed that there must be "@" and "." in an email address and "@" comes after "."

Here is the code that will verify the email address:

Function checkEmail(Email)
	If x=0 Or x=1 Then
		Exit Function
		If y=0 or (y=x+1) Then
			Exit Function
			If len(Email) = y Then
				Exit Function
			End If
		End If
	End IF
End Function

First the function finds "@" in the email address if found then it will check wheather there is something before it if found then it moves on to the next step to find "." which is also important part of an e-mail, If "." is found then it checks wheather something is inbetween "@" and "." if there is nothing then then email is not valid else moves on to the next step where it checks wheather there is something after "." if nothing then email is not valid. If any step fails it will return "False"
